Nestled in the Lam Takhong Basin of Sricute District, Nakhon Ratchasima, lies Sricute Cottage, a home that tells the story of two worlds—traditional Thai Yuan heritage and a life shaped by experiences abroad.
After living in Vermont, USA for 30 years, The client wanted her house to mix her traditional Thai-yuan heritage with the New England coziness.
The unique charm of Sricute Cottage lies in its blend of two cultural narratives. Externally, the house features a contemporary aesthetic, while its layout and use of space reflect traditional Thai principles. The design achieves a compact yet functional form—neither overly large to manage nor too small to feel restrictive.
